A Story Every Child - and Every Heart - Needs to Hear
Britney Has a Brachial Plexus is so much more than a children’s book. It is a beautiful, heartfelt reminder that what makes us different does not make us less - it can be the very thing that makes us extraordinary.
From the very beginning, Britney’s story draws you in with courage, resilience, kindness, and an unwavering determination to live fully. What touched me most was watching how hard Britney worked, how determined she remained, and how she continued to lead with kindness throughout her life. She never allowed what made her different to become a reason to stop dreaming. Instead, she embraced who she was and went after everything her heart desired.
My favorite part of Britney’s story is her dream of a future where fairness would reign, a future where she could help those in need and ease the pain of others. That dream reveals something so beautiful about her character: Britney didn’t just want to overcome challenges for herself. She wanted her life to make a difference for others.
And isn’t that the kind of story we want our children to hear?
In a world where children can sometimes feel different, left out, or limited by what others see in them, Britney Has a Brachial Plexus offers a powerful message of hope: You are not your limitations. You are uniquely and wonderfully made. Your differences do not diminish your worth, they are part of the beautiful story God is writing through your life.
I love that this book invites children and families to see differences through a different lens - not as something to hide or overcome, but as something to embrace. It encourages us to look beyond what we see on the outside and discover the courage, gifts, dreams, and purpose within each person.
We are all fearfully and wonderfully made, and sometimes the very thing we think makes us different is the very thing God will use most.
This is a book to read, treasure, talk about, and share. Give it to a child who needs encouragement. Share it with a family learning to embrace their own unique journey. Read it in a classroom and start a conversation about inclusion, kindness, courage, and compassion.
Most of all, let Britney’s story remind you that a life filled with challenges can still be a life filled with possibility, purpose, and joy.
Get this book. Let Britney inspire you. Then share her story with someone who needs to be reminded just how wonderfully they are made.

From one author to another, I know the heart, courage, and vulnerability it takes to share a story that has the potential to impact lives. Thank you for trusting me with an advance copy of Britney Has a Brachial Plexus. It was truly a pleasure to read, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
I found Britney Has a Brachial Plexus to be a beautifully written and encouraging children’s book that celebrates resilience, determination, and self-acceptance. Through engaging rhymes and vibrant illustrations, Britney’s journey demonstrates that challenges do not define a person’s potential. Instead, the story highlights the power of perseverance, faith, and believing in yourself.
One of the things I appreciated most was that the story focuses on Britney’s abilities rather than her limitations. It presents her everyday challenges alongside her many accomplishments in a way that is both inspiring and relatable. I also loved how the book encourages conversations about inclusion, empathy, and embracing differences. The interactive ending, where children are invited to think about and write down their own dreams, is a wonderful touch that helps readers personally connect with Britney’s story.
I believe this book is a meaningful and uplifting resource for families, educators, and classrooms. It provides much-needed representation while encouraging every child to dream big, work hard, and recognize that their differences can become their greatest strengths. I would highly recommend Britney Has a Brachial Plexus to anyone looking for a story that inspires courage, compassion, and confidence in young readers.
Congratulationson creating such a heartfelt and impactful book. As a fellow author, I know that every page carries a piece of your heart, and that is evident throughout this story. I pray this book reaches countless children and families, helping them embrace differences, celebrate resilience, and believe that they, too, are wonderfully made and capable of achieving their dreams.
